1 point · 2 years ago. A health check's behavior is dependent on the service's externaltrafficpolicy. Systems with health checks that are not configurable are not a good idea.
This workaround will prevent the ecs service from cycling the ecs task due to failed health checks. The health checks start firing ± as soon as the service is deployed. Go to your service and find the option for the health check grace period.
